Clandestine location drawing. The people you're drawing will move as soon as they notice that you're drawing them. Oh well, they'll move anyway! Done in ballpoint pen and watercolors.
Nice idea Spaceman. People sketching does feel like spy work sometimes, and people do notice. My best trick is looking "outside" the windows of coffee shops at the reflections of people behind me :)

Very lively, inspires me to go out and draw people.
Well you cetainly hit the old nail on the head with this one. Nice work.
Its true! they DO move! dint u just HATE that? i tried wearing the conspicuous looking trench coat and hat but tht just made things worse...
ah well. Your illustration still is top notch!
How totally right-on. The only question is what exactly is the artful deception being drawn?!!!!
Great style! Very thought-provoking

Perfect response to this prompt. And like everyone else has said, they really do move as soon as they notice.
Excellent take on the subject... public sketch observation does seem a bit clandestine.
Clever and funny. I love the expression on his face and his pose - hunched as if trying to be completely invisible.
ah. so painfully true. I hate it when that happens!
really nice treatment!
